Italian Americans of the Mahoning Valley


On November 23, 2015, Arcadia Publishing published Italian Americans of the Greater Mahoning Valley by Donna M. DeBlasio and Martha I. Pallante.  The cost is $21.95 + tax and is available at Barnes & Noble and local booksellers including the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor and the YSU Bookstore and on-line at


The exhibit, “Italian Americans in the Mahoning Valley” which opened  at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor can  be viewed in the archives/library at YHCIL. The exhibit, which is funded by a grant from Ohio Humanities , was developed by YSU American Studies/Italian senior Paula Schaefer.

The Youngstown Historical Center of Industry is located at 151 W. Wood St. Youngstown, across from St. Columba Cathedral.  For more information, please phone 330-941-1314.
